
Live-CD is an operating system which boot from CD-ROM device when PC started. If you have not touched the order on BIOS configuration, this order is 1-Floppy 2-CD-ROM 3-HARD DISK. With this order PC will be able to start from live-CD if this is inside CD or DVD device
If this sequence has changed and it is necessary start with a live-CD is necesary touch the BIOS configuration for boot from CD or DVD device.

Gordux can start in three different ways. Live-DVD, Hybrid-DVD, installation disk.
Mode Live-DVD: Operating system will boot from DVD copying necessary files and data into RAM memory. In this mode no changes will be made on hard drive but will not be able to save configurations, etc.
Mode Hybrid-DVD: Operating system boot from the DVD, but unlike Live-DVD in boot gordux asked in which partition you will save files. Once partition is selected, the configuration files are copied to selected partition, and may well save changes for next time.
In 1.0 version ext2, ext3, xfs, jfs, fat32 and ntfs partitions are valid (fat32 and ntfs have some limitations)
Setup Mode: This mode install gordux on your hard drive using gdinstall
